3B. ICT in Women’s Studies

This group will be an intersecting working group which aims to advise and consult with the other working groups about the use of ICTs in Women’s Studies. Therefore it will work in close co-operation with all other working groups within ATHENA 3 .The group will advise and consult with the other groups on the use of feminist pedagogy by women’s studies teachers, in particular about the use of ICT in education (e-learning). We aim to develop an understanding of what good quality of e-learning in Women’s Studies entails and will be able to offer advice on the development of networking through the web which will benefit ATHENA 3 in general. We will also function as small research group on this area, and co-operate with others developing these themes including researchers outside ATHENA-network, especially in the context of European Gender and ICT symposiums.
